Web applications implement this behavior using two HTTP methods: POST and GET respectively. This simple protocol gets broken when application returns web page in response to POST request. Peculiarities of POST method combined with idiosyncrasies of different browsers often lead to unpleasant user experience and may produce incorrect state of server application. TMC Releases J2EE Appserver Marketshare Research Report
TMC has released the results of a Sun-sponsored J2EE Application Server research report that measures market share by use in production and hands-on experience. The results paint a very different picture of the industry with BEA in a comfortable lead over IBM in production, Tomcat/Jetty leading in development, and Sun (including J2EE RI) leading in hands-on experience.
OpenSymphony releases WebWork 2.1.1
The OpenSymphony group is proud to announce the release of WebWork 2.1.1. This release mostly fixes bugs that popped up in 2.1 as well as a couple new features. With the release of 2.1.1, the 2.1.x product line is stable and solid. We encourage those using older versions (1.x and 2.0) to try out 2.1.1.
