EJBCommand-ValueObject Pattern

The modified EJBCommand Pattern will have the execute method with arguments that will be passed to the server. The argument that will be passed will be the interface pointing to the ValueObject. This helps in reducing the getter and setter methods in the Command bean as the ValueObject will have these getter & setter methods.

The client's shop was sold on IBM and we had to go with WAS 4. We are pretty much an opensource shop. The tools we use are your basic OS stuff like Ant, Cvs, Linux/Freebsd, JBoss, etc. For development, we use JBoss and deploy the latest build on WAS each day. Following is my experience with WAS 4...

TogetherSoft Corp. and WebGain, Inc., have announced that TogetherSoft plans to acquire WebGain Studio, which consists of VisualCafe, StructureBuilder, Business Designer and Quality Analyzer and provides support for BEA's WebLogic Server. TogetherSoft will also provide an integration package, allowing WebGain Studio customers to migrate to TogetherSoft's development environment.
