Our DR2 release is going to be the first week of July. What's in it on the AOP side of things I've already talked about a little, is that we've dramatically improved the performance of the AOP framework in DR2 from DR1. That's only a small part though. What we've also done is, we've extended the point cut language to define aspect oriented point cuts. We've expanded that to be more on par with AspectWerkz and AspectJ. We've expanded that a lot.

Besides the AOP, there's other stuff going on as well. One of them is we are rewriting our JMS layer and DR2 release will have the first iteration of that. One good feature about this rewrite is we are writing topics over reliable multicasts. What this means is that it's going to be highly performant because there's no server middleman at all. So that's one of the cool things we're doing with our JMS rewrite. We're also providing tighter Xdoclet integration for our AOP framework; we're providing that, and we are also having a JDO implementation as well.
