Basically, because it's a matter of well-formed programming. You get two benefits with one blow here, because not only do you get the capabilities to support whenever you need it wireless, but you also just get well formed XHTML documents in your application. You get the client-side processing based on XForms events as soon as desktop browsers support XForms, which is going to be very soon, then you will get a much more nice user experience because there's going to be less round trips and all of that stuff. So there's lots of benefits in XHTML and XForms for desktop development. As a matter of fact, that's a lot of the thrust behind that technology, just for the desktop. It's just sort of an added bonus that you can also use this for multi-channeling for wireless development.
