I'm learning to work with WSAD and have a simple HelloWorld bean working. I have found however, that if I make change to one of the files, I have to shut down the Websphere Test Server and restart it before the changes will take effect. Is there a more efficient way to do this? I can't imagine having to take down the server each time that you start the server.
Thanks in advance.
When you get a server instance marked out of sync, you can click on your enterprise application and republish it (this is done in the server perspective, save your J2EE perspective first, so that the changes to the code gets compiled). Things sometimes get tangled (more frequently if the Server instance is running in debug mode) and you have to restart the instance then, but republishing should do the trick most of the times.
You might want to rebuild the EJB project and generate the generate the RMIC code again. It should be hot deployed automatically.
