I have a multihomed UNIX machine with three IP addresses(100.x.x.127,100.x.x.128,100.x.x.129).
I want to run three weblogic servers on this machine with the same port number(7001,7001,7001).Will it work?
What is HTTP host header in HTTP 1.1?
Yes, that will work. Just have each instance configured to bind to its particular ip/port (that differs with different versions how you configure it.)
The host header may differ depending on how you get to the server (IIRC). If you are just using a hardware load balancer going direct to WebLogic vs. a web server with a WebLogic plug-in.
