I am studying the EJB specification.
I am very confused with the fact that accessing resource manager and EJB is releated to transaction context and client security context in page 81, paragraph 2, point 6.
Could anyone help me on this?

All it means is that an EJB should not access data sources and other EJB in its initializations methods, such as ejbSetSessionContext().
