    Hello,

First thing is that there is nothing to do with server to hide the IP address.

If your application is accessed within the same domain, then the application can be accessed as http://yourmachinename:80/app.

If your application needs to be accessed from outside your domain(Intranet) or from the internet
then your machine name(IP address) should be registered in a domain server called as DNS server then your application can be accesses by anyone as http://yourfavouritename.domainname/app.

    Hi,

If you don't want to mention the port number in the URL then the web server should run on the port 80(which is the default port).

If you don't want to use the IP address in the URL, then the IP address should be replaced with
    1. machine name if you are accessing within the intranet
    or
    2. DNS name of the machine if it is accessed withing a LAN,WAN
    or
    3. Register your web site name with InterNIC www.register.com if it has to accessed through the internet.
