EJB design: Can an entity bean have more than a single primary key

  1. Hi,

    I have a bean which will access a database which has three primary keys. I get someproblem while I go for ejbActivate() method.

    Can anyone help me in this regard?

    i hope you are accessing three tables in the same bean. i also have the same problem which i could not resolve. i possible to query : a simple doubt in primarykey class and if you understand mail to me or send reply.

    What do you mean by "a database which has three primary keys" ? Do you mean that there are three tables in the database , each with a single-column primary key OR that the table has a primary key composed of 3 columns ?

  4. U WILL NEED THREE ENTITY BEANS FOR THREE TABLES WITH ONE PRIMARY KEY (SINGLE OR COMPOSITE) NO DATABASE HAS A PRIMARY KEY.
