In the application I'm developing, I need to generate three primary keys for three different tables of a database. I want to use a table with three fields to maintain the three differents counters corresponding to each table. I mean, I want to use a Entity Bean that increments the counters, can I use a CMP or I must use a BMP?
I assume that U meant three rows(not columns), one for each table. The table itself will have two columns(TableName, CurrentKey). Also CMP Entity bean gives a clean implementation. We did that and it works cool.
