The Norwegian Java User Group, javaBin, has announced the Call For Papers to the JavaZone 2006 conference to take place in Oslo, Norway, on September 13-14, 2006, the conference will offer a combination of technical talks, panels and tutorials in an intimate atmosphere with 1200-1500 attendees.

Last year's conference was a massive success, with more than 1000 software professionals enjoying over 70 sessions in five parallel tracks, and an impressive lineup of internationally known speakers, including Rod Johnson, John Crupi, Eric Evans, Kevlin Henney, Tom Gilb, Bruce Tate and Ted Neward. Leading evangelists in the community rate JavaZone as one of most important Java events in Europe. JavaZone 2006 will be the fifth consecutive JavaZone conference.

The JavaZone conference is organized by javaBin, the Norwegian Java User Group (JUG). javaBin is an idealistic, non-profit organization established in 1996 by a group of Java enthusiasts. The JUG has since evolved to be the leading group for the promotion of Java in Scandinavia.

JavaZone 2006 will have six tracks:

    * Core Java, AOP and utilities
    * Enterprise application development and integration
    * Java Web Technologies
    * Embedded, Mobile and Gaming
    * Experience reports
    * Methodology and Business
