We have finally released the Beta of Virtual Ant. With Virtual Ant you no longer have to get your hands dirty with XML to create or edit Ant build scripts. Work in a completely virtualized environment similar to Windows Explorer and run your tasks on a Virtual File System to see what they do, in real time, without affecting your real file system. The actual Ant build script is generated in the background. You can even work with your existing build scripts. Virtual Ant is particularly useful in creating build scripts where the source code isn't complete or compilable, since operations take place on a virtual filesystem and don't actually rely on content except when absolutely necessary. We suggest that your watch the short video on our site which demonstrates the features of Virtual Ant. Future plans include IDE integration, although that's not available yet. We are looking forward to hearing your comments :)Threaded Messages (6)

Thanks :)so,it has an expiry date,it 's not free or open source
It has an expiry date since its a beta version ;) No, it will not be open source. However we will offer free licenses for Open Source and Academic projects. We haven't settled on a price yet, but we do plan to make it affordable to individual developers. Prashant
