Atlassian today announced the third annual Codegeist Plugin Competition. Atlassian is giving away cash and prizes to the person or team who comes up with the coolest, most useful, most elegant plugin or extension for six of Atlassian's products. A $5,000 prize will be awarded in each product category. Plugins may be built for: JIRA: the professional issue tracker Confluence: the enterprise wiki Bamboo: the zen-like continuous integration server Crowd: the dead-simple identity management solution FishEye: the version control insight tool Crucible: the painless peer code review tool All entries will be judged by the Atlassian development team, based on the following four criteria: Usefulness, Creativity and Elegance, Completeness and Code Quality and Documentation. The competition is open to teams of one to three people and is open until May 9th, 2008. The winners will be announced June 15th, 2008. For more information, visit:
