  2. Great Release[ Go to top ]

Just wanted to say that I took this for a spin and it's a vast, vast improvement over the 1.x series. Had it up and running in 10 minutes and I am happily and accurately looking after my artifacts :).
  3. Excellent ![ Go to top ]

Great release...easy to install, has a very good and intuitive GUI, with great improvements on performance (during the search, the display of the repositories tree, etc).
  4. Artifactory is one of the mostly-repeated elements in the projects I setup and always recommend it to the others. Great job and thanks.
  5. The new version of Artifactory looks amazing. Massive improvement both in UI and performance. No doubt it is the best maven repository manager out there.
  6. Great GUI[ Go to top ]

What a major improvement! It really propelled Artifactory as a webapplication into future. Kuddos for the jfrog team and specially for the interaction design guy/ girl (s). Definitely can see why the release was lifted from 1.3 to 2.0. See for screenshots also my blogpost at
  7. Can you make a comparison with Nexus?
  8. With the upgrade of Artifactory to 2.0 and Nexus 1.1 the features are very similar. Both have the ability to upload a Maven artifact by the GUI, can be updated with a new WAR file and both have the ability to manage repositories in the GUI. The difference between them is that Artifactory has a much simpler and easier interface to do the main tasks like uploading an artifact, add a repository and search for an artifact.
  9. It's a good one. Too bad we are already using Nexus. :-)
  10. You should realy consider switching to Artifactory, you'll benefit in the long and short run.
  11. That seems great, I am very glad to try it. I will dive into the project. It's license is apache licenses 2,but I can't checkout the source code, there is below error when I checkout the source code. svn co artifactory Server sent unexpected return value (403 Forbidden) in response to PROPFIND request for '/artifactory/!svn/vcc/default' It seems I have no permission to checkout, but I can view all source code by firefox. Could you tell me how to checkout the source code? Do I need user and password to do it? Thanks&Best Regards . Yang.Gu
