Why almost everything in your site is a RAR? I think that plain-old-HTML docs (to view online) and ZIP/tar.gz would be better. -

Well, I had to download the package to know that it is GPL. How do you expect someone to take your software seriously if you publish your works this way *and* under GPL?

Worse than that. Under GPL the source needs to be distributed with the download. The only source incude here was samples. The actual framework code is not in the download and is not availible on the website. Why almost everything in your site is a RAR?

That's the least of the legal problems with this if you are based in the US. The support company for this appears to be Iranian. -

I noticed the really interesting sounding project, "J2SOS Virtual Human", listed on the page at http://www.j2sos.org/organization/project.htm. When will this project be finished? I need some virtual humans to pump up my project ranking on sourceforge.net, and this sounds like just what I need. I'm also interested in your "JOctopus Web Based IDE". Tools like Eclipse and NetBeans aren't slow enough for me. I want page loads when I do basic operations like "Search" and "Save File". A web based IDE sounds like a fine idea to give me more opportunities to get coffee. -

Is it too much to ask the server side staff to edit their posts? This is a new low for TSS quality; the post isn't even formatted, there are numerous grammar errors and no link to the actual item being discussed. WTF? I realize not everyone who might submit something has great written English, but since when does this site just post people's press releases verbatim? -

The code and architecture is definitely a joke. Some Issues: 1. No Intefaces nust inherit from framework classes 2. All "services" must be registered in web.xml indiviually This looks like soming that came out of some school where they have no interaction with real world development or even what a web service is. -

For your info this framework used to be hosted on sourceforge and was deleted. Here is the link to the support request: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2501285&group_id=1&atid=200001 And here is a funnier sf.net support request from the creator of this framework requesting sf.net to elevate the rank: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2228236&group_id=1&atid=200001 So, it was a fraud, it's been shut down. But it's a new low for TSS. Seems like these days TSS has no editorial control AT ALL. Not even the most basic checks or corrections. This is a real shame imho.... Ara. -
