I got to hear that java apps run very slowly on win2k due to the JVM. Just like to hear some opinions whether this is true and whether the difference is really significant ?
Thanks!

In our enterprise, we run WebSphere on Windows NT and the performance has been poor, with numerous problems. We are seriously considering moving the applictions to AIX. -Srini... -

I just have a tip for both of you. If you are using JDK 1.3, then try downloading HotSpot Server VM for Windows NT. It is not bundled along with JDK 1.3 for Windows NT platform, but is available as a separate download on Sun website. That should help you somewhat atleast.
Hope this helps,
Reema.
