I don't understnad your comment. First you say that Java isn't multicore ready and in the end you say you hope it is fixed in Java 7. And afaik there is not going to be any change to the Java language for the FJ framework. Closures could have made the syntax less painful to use, but Closures won't be added to Java 7.
