The workload consists of an end-to-end Web based order processing domain, an RMI and Web Services driven manufacturing domain and a supply chain model utilizing document based Web Services. The application is a collection of Java classes, Java Servlets, Java Server Pages , Enterprise Java Beans, Java Persistence Entities (pojo's) and Message Driven Beans.http://www.spec.org/jEnterprise2010/ http://webspherecommunity.blogspot.com/2010/01/websphere-first-on-specjenterprise2010.html There should be value in such tests, yet there is also room skepticism too. What do you think?

I see on the front page a sentence that looks like the meat of the post, but its not there in the article. Did you happen to mix the short and long forms of the article? -

Is that benchmark a descendant of Apache Daytrader? http://cwiki.apache.org/GMOxDOC20/daytrader.html Daytrader is also incorporated into the new Dacapo versions: http://www.dacapo-bench.org/ Dacapo gives quite a good bench of the VM/machine combinations. -

Hi All,
I am new to SPECjEnterprise2010 and i was wondering how can this be used to find out the system performance .As far as I understood , it is a application which will be run in JavaEE 5 onward and will be able to give the complete system performance output .
Please tell me how to use this and tell me how much effort will be required to learn this tool.
Thanks
Rajan

Jack, haven't we been through this before? Are you not paying attention?
There is no "JEE".
"JEE" is not an acceptable abbreviation for "Java EE".
Nor is "J EE".
If "Java EE" is just too much to type, please use "EE".
Please update this page to fix this error.
Thanks.
