I want to use ejb's with MySql(is it possible, I mean are they compatible) but I get this exception:

java.rmi.RemoteException: Transaction aborted (possibly due to transaction time out).; nested exception is:
    javax.transaction.RollbackException
    javax.transaction.RollbackException
    at com.sun.jts.jta.TransactionManagerImpl.commit(TransactionManagerImpl.java:210)

I use MySql version 3.23.14 and jdbc mysql driver ver 2.0.4. If enyone ever used mysql with j2ee please tell which version I have to use to work.

    Thanks

    Hi

Does MySQL really support transactions the way the standard SQL does ? The way JDBC does ?

    Take a look at
    http://www.mysql.com/doc/M/i/Missing_Transactions.html

Yes, it does. From version 23.24 AFAIR. Sandor, upgrade your mySQL to the latest version.
