Hi all,
I'm about to recommend to my management to buy the a/m. However I would like to check up the following:
1. Does iPlanet App Server supports Oracle 7.3.x?
2. Does iPlanet App Server comes together with the iPlanet App Builder?
Thanks for your help!
Rgds,
Alvin

Ans 2:iPlanet server also includes iPlanet Application Builder.
Ans 1: I think through JDBC you can connect any version of oracle so the version doesn't matters. But should verify this one

Hi Kartik,
Thanks for your reply.
I agree with you on your answer to my question 1. But I discovered that iAS 6 requires a "Database Client". For example, if I'm using Oracle database server, I need to install SQL Net client 8.1.5 in the iAS machine.
So how does the JDBC driver comes into play here? Does the JDBC driver comes with the SQL Net Client, or do I have to install it separately?
Thanks!
Rgds,
Alvin
