Dear all,
I'm studying MEJB 2.0 book. In chapter 3's last example, author design an bean with local & remote interface in it!! Why ?? I thouht designing local interface is to replace remote interface's performance!!

I believe the intention is to provide a local interface to local callers and a remote interface for remote callers so that the bean may be used both locally and remotely. -
