Friends,
I just installed JBoss version 3.0.4 and am able to successfully run webapps. I have been using the JBoss 3.0 Quick Start Guide. In the intial steps it talks about running the Html based admin page on port 8082.
(Please see the excerpt from the guide below in quotes) When I try to run the admin page using the url
http://localhost:8082, I get a Html error saying that "The page cannot be displayed" or "Cannot find server
or DNS Error"
Any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance.
Excerpt from JBoss 3.0 Quick Start Guide
"Instead, to check if JBoss is running, you should open a browser and point it to http://localhost:8082 which is the html based admin of JBoss. It will list all JBoss components (the MBeans) that are running. This page is served by the HTML-Adaptor and is a way to manage JBoss"

Mauro Ramon is right, version 3.04 uses the address he posted. With 3.0.0 you would use http://localhost:8082/ -
