    Wondering what the latest trends are: 1) Entity bean with CMP and CMR 2) JDO 3) Hibernate and other OR mapping tools. If you have recently made any decision for any project please share your thoughts and rationale behind your decision.

    After researching for quite a while, in one of the product development phases
    we considered Classical DAO model is too good.
    a. It removes the hierarchial persistance model
    b. It helps in designing sql's better
    c. db independent model

    But latest trends in this are getting more clerical no radical improvement over
    previous stuff
