    Colleagues,

    I have a requirement where my portal users need top access folders and documents in read only fashion.
    They need to be able to browse folders and to download/upload files. Files will most likely be on the network drive.
    Some folder access rights will be group driven.


    I can write something like this (folder browser, file upload/download), but I would like to
    know if anyone is aware of any open source J2EE component or a portlet that let's you do exactly this.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
