In reading through the patterns forum it seems there are some accepted patterns that respondees deem as useful but many others that are challenged as either redundant or incorrect. I think it would make sense to "granduate" the accepted patterns to a separate forum. The reason being is that the user has to sift through all the invalid ones to find ones he/she can use.

Good idea.
We are working on a new /patterns area which will have categorization, and a process where patterns start of in a work area, and only get promoted over time.
