I'm trying to load a property file through this code.
smaResource = ResourceBundle.getBundle("SMAResources");
but i'm not able to do it.
i'm using oracle 1og AS.
But the same code works in a normal stand alone application.
I have even set the jar file habing the property in a class path.
Pls hlp me
here is a neat technique to find out where the hell the app server looks for stuff by default.(there could be other config places which you can change).
In your ejb code just try to write a new flat text file, say for example "foo.txt". then do a windows search for that file in the folder where your appserver is installed. that's the default place things are read and written. by default. This changes from server to server and config to config
So good luck with more hunting
At last i got it !! ..
In a jar the property file was inside a folder "com/abc/SMA/utils", but while refering i have used " ResourceBundle.getBundle("SMAResources");",
After copying the property file in the root it got worked !!!!
