Thanks fr the solutions people there. I edited the tomcat startup.sh file and set the env variable DISPLAY =2. Since
Xvbf is already installed in my system, the problem was solved. But now it is giving a new exception.
javax.servlet.ServletException
at org.apache.jasper.runtime.PageContextImpl.handlePageException(PageContextImpl.java:536)
in my application's jsp page servlet. I am unable to figure out the root cause. Pls help me in this regard...
