Greg Wilkins, lead developer of the Jetty open source servlet server and a member of the expert group for the servlet specification from the Java Community Process, had some critical words on the Public Review for JSR-315 or the Servlet 3.0 spec. In response to these cited failures in the spec, two more members of the expert group contributed to the lively public discussion. Maxim Moldenhauer -- WebSphere Application Server WebContainer Architect -- and Rajiv Mordani's from Sun Microsystems. In addition, Greg has also posted some fixes/extensions suggested in his initial post for the continuing discussion within the expert group.
