The newest release of the J2EE based Track+ issue tracker adds a number of features. Users can now enter their issues into Excel tables during meetings, and can later on upload these issues to Track+. It is possible to synchronize issues in Excel with issues already in Track+.
New report templates permit to generate time sheet reports, and monthly or weekly activity reports. Full custom report templates can be developed using the free report template editor Track+ ReportStudio.
Users can send e-mails directly from issues. These e-mails are recorded in the history trail, and responses to such e-mails are added as comments to these issues.
Beside these new features, Track+ comes with all functions that can be expected from a full size issue tracking system, e.g., multi-project capability, customizable fields and input masks, support for cluster operation, arbitrary issue types, workflow engine. Track+ runs on all major application servers and database systems. For integration with the Eclipse IDE there is a free Eclipse-Mylyn adapter available.
Track+ is available under an open source license (GPL) at Sourceforge, and with full functionality under a propietary license at
Trackplus. Track+ is free for the first 5 users and for use by charities and open source projects.
