One of our DB tables was using an Oracle user defined type to Map three columns. As our application was using hibernate we wanted a way to map this directly to an entity. Of course this could have easily been done using raw SQL but this was not our objective. Hence after some time googling around i found how to do this in Hibernate 2. But as we were using Hibernate 3 there were a few minor changes to be done. Hence i blogged about the same so that anyone in the future with the same need can save some time by going through this. Any comments are welcome as usual :) ... http://dinukaroshan.blogspot.com/2009/08/hibernate-and-oracle-user-defined-types.html
