I'm not sure if this is the correct forum or not. I just wanted to call attention to the fact that the book "Oracle JRockit - the definitive guide" has been released. I have been working on it together with my co-author Marcus Hirt for over a year

To our knowledge this is the first in-depth guide to how a commercial JVM works.

It may prove interesting for anyone interested in JVM internals, application tuning and using the JRockit Mission Control suite for online profiling. It is, of course, partly a JRockit specific book, but a lot of the JVM material is platform agnostic as well. Wherever the book is JRockit specific, we have targeted the latest major release of JRockit, R28, that shipped in May.

The book is available directly from the publisher at a small introduction discount (https://www.packtpub.com/oracle-jrockit-the-definitive-guide/book) or from any major resellers such as Amazon.com.
