Does that mean that I can't take an existing maven2 project that already has an existing file structure (with existing pom.xml files) and import it into MyEclipse for use within eclipse?

1. You can create Maven2-compatible Web, EJB and Java projects from inside MyEclipse now (no need to try and jimmy-rig the two together).
