Can any body help me this situation,
I develop an Entity Bean, in the bean's method, I using lookup command to find out the datasouce. But I can Setup my DataSource correctly so that when the Application run, It can lookup the EJB object but It can find the DataSource JNDI which I find.
it is so simple to solve ur problem. if in case u r using a bean managed persistant bean, just give all the jdbc(depending on the driver u use) coding in the bean methods or in ur business logic and start running.
if in case u r using a container managed persistant bean then configure ur connection pool in the server properties file and it shall be a smooth running of ur application.
The connection pool jus asks for the server(rdbms)name, service name, userid, driver name etc.
