Jnex is a pure Java framework for the implementation of the model-view-controller design pattern on three different presentation tiers: Swing, HTML, and Canoo ULC.

It provides a set of data models that can be nested and structured to represent simple values and structures. These data models can then be automatically translated to the different viewer types. Whole model structures can be rendered recursively as forms of simple viewers.

Another aspect of the library that stands out is the configuration, located in code rather than in external configuration files.

This version includes a move to SourceForge, a new servlet implementation for translating models to HTML viewers, tranformation of models to and from Strings for persistence purposes, access of JDBC with jnex data models, and a wide range of predefined models and viewers.
