We plan to develop J2EE application on Solaris using weblogic. Can any of you suggest an IDE for coding and debugging on unix.

go to http://java.sun.com/j2ee/j2sdkee/ and download the j2sdkee for solaris. It will solve your problem. -

I am sorry for the last one, there is a IDE for Java on Solaris and it is called "Forte for java". The download is available on sun's download center. But it isn't free. -

JBuilder 4 Enterprise Edition from Borland
Visual Cafe Enterprise Edition from Symantec
Both of these have integrated deployment with popular App Servers as well as support for remote debugging, debugging of all your components (including JSP).
