Can an entity bean represent a group of database
resources (tables/views) rather than a row in the table?
Thanks in advance!
An entity bean can represent whatever you want: it doesn't have to represent a single row in a database. However, if you intend you use container-managed persistence for your entity bean, the way your entity is mapped to the database in container dependent: some containers may support mapping an entity to multiple rows, others may not. If you know what application server you will be using, you can check out it's documentation for details on the supportedmapping strategies.
