We are in the process of converting our servlet based solutions to EJB/Container solutions. One of the requirement is to create and deploy a service as a J2EE application to a dedicated instance of an appserver container and have other sites remotely access the service. I am working on the analysis phase. I would like to confirm that this is possible. I understand the location transparency that is offerred by EJB and you can lookup and invoke a business object on an EJB irrespective of whether you are in teh same or different JVM, whether you are in the same or different location. But I just needed to confirm this point before moving forward.
