EJB programming & troubleshooting: Have I that restart weblogic 5.1 to redeploy javaBeans (no EJB)?

  1. Hi,

    I have created a web application with JSPs and JavaBeans (no EJBs) and I have restart weblogic 5.1 each time what I modify a class Can I avoid that?

    I have the classes into WEB-INF/classes.

    Thank you,

    David.
  2. In your web.xml file which is in the WEB-INF folder add the following :
    <context-param>
      <param-name>weblogic.httpd.servlet.classpath</param-name>
      <param-value>(absolute path)/WEB-INF/classes</param-value>
    </context-param>
    <context-param>
    <param-name>weblogic.httpd.servlet.reloadCheckSecs</param-name>
    <param-value>3</param-value>
    </context-param>

    This will ensure that once your classes have been compiled they will be reloaded.
