I have installed successfully weblogic 6.0 in my machine.
But when i run the server and type the following URL in the browser(http://localhost:7001/console),It asks for username and passsword.Iam unable 2 login.And iam unable to get the console screen
Ofcourse i have tried with the password which i have entered while installing the server.
Can anyone help me out to sort out this problem

What do you see on the screen. Can you ensure that weblogic is running propertly. http://localhost:7001/
.If weblogic is running then the license is fine.
Then tell me what happens if you type http://localhost:7001/console. Just tell me what screen do you get.

My weblogic server is running fine.
When i type the url http://localhost:7001/console
I am prompted with a small window ,which asks for username and password.
When i submit the "cansel" button
a page is displayed as

Error 401--Unauthorized xxx
  From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:

  10.4.2 401 Unauthorized

  The request requires user authentication. The response MUST include a WWW-Authenticate header
  field (section 14.46) containing a challenge applicable to the requested


AND THE THE URL IN THE ADDRESS BAR TAKES BY ITSELF AS
http://127.0.0.1:7001/console/index.jsp
BUT MY SYSTEM IP ADDRESS IS DIFFERENT.

tHIS IS IN RESPONSE TO MY PREVIOUS QUESTION,
FIRST OF ALL IAM UNABLE 2 LOGIN ON ,THEN WHEN I PRESS "CANCEL" BUTTON I GET WHAT I HAVE MENTIONED BEFORE.
