Is there a way to connect jBoss and Apache? jBoss is using Tomcat for JSP/servlet stuff, but it seems to ignore all application contexts defined in Tomcat and only use those context defined in its own deployed apps. Also, jBoss seems to ignore the config of Tomcat so there is no starting of the connector module between Tomcat and Apache. If I only start Tomcat and Apache, everything is OK, but if I start jBoss with the included Tomcat it doesn't seem to talk with Apache :(
I managed to get Apache/Tomcat-JBoss-2.4.4 working, but the only problem is that you can't hot deploy your ear files anymore.
I had to go and find an old 3.x version of Tomcat, and run it to get a mod_jk.conf file and a worker.properties file. I threw them into the conf folder in the under the catalina dir in JBoss.
In your apache conf file, you need to use an Include directive to include the mod_jk.conf file. If you like, let me know and I can email you or post here, snippets of my conf files?
Let me know,
