We have developed a web application and currently into the OAT phase. The application comprises of online screens, Batch programs, File Uploads and Reports Server. A single Superdome partition with Quad CPU hosts the three components, the ORACLE 9i DB server, Offline Oracle 9iAS container and Control M Agent. Now during OAT we are facing a consistent problem of the CPU hitting 100%. Given that the offline container, Ctrl-M server and DB reside on the same machine is there any merit in separating the components and in which way so that the load on the machine can be reduce? Any pointers would be helpful.
